Which airport should I fly into?
Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad is located 30 miles from San Diego International Airport. Also, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is 98 miles away. Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) is 52 miles away, and McClellan-Palomar Airport (which is a smaller regional airport) is 4 miles away.
If I have questions once I arrive at the Summit, where should I go?
Summit staff will be available to answer any questions at the Registration & Information Center 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28; 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday June 29; and 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 30.
What is the dress code?
We want you to be comfortable; therefore, the dress code during the Summit is business/resort casual. This means long pants and sports shirts for men and casual pants and skirts for women. All receptions, dinners and lunches are business casual except for Wednesday’s Farewell Reception and Dinner, which will require a jacket for the men. Although the temperature should be quite pleasant during the day, the evenings could be chilly, therefore, you may want to dress appropriately. The daily high during this season is usually 70° F (21° C) and the daily low is 54° F (12° C).
What meals are included?
The Sourcing USA Summit officially begins with the Welcome Reception and Dinner on Monday evening, June 28 , and concludes with guest departures on Thursday, July 1. All meals are group functions during this time and are provided as part of this special event. Drinks are provided during schedules hours on the evenings on June 28, 29, and 30 at the Cotton Club. Any food and beverage purchased outside of these functions will need to be paid by the attendee. This includes — but is not limited to — restaurants, bars and room service.
What nights of lodging are provided?
Summit registration includes three room nights (space permitting at time registration is accepted): Monday, June 28, Tuesday, June 29, and Wednesday, June 30. When making travel plans, please consider arriving on the morning of June 28 and departing when convenient on July 1 so that you can take advantage of all Summit events.
