The Registration & Information Center will serve multiple purposes including the event registration area, rest and meeting areas, and Internet kiosks.

You may also want to visit the activities desk in the Registration & Information Center to sign up for leisure activities on Monday, November 7, which will give you even more opportunities to network with your business partners. Please note that all activities will be at your individual expenses this year, and we have arranged for an activities desk in the Registration & Information Center for you to register for golf, adventure tours and outdoor activities.

Visit the Registration & Information Center from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5; 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 6; and 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7.

The Cotton Club - Networking Room

Join your fellow Summit guests for networking at the Cotton Club on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights. The Cotton Club – Networking Room is open for your enjoyment Saturday and Sunday evening until 12:00 a.m. and Monday evening until 1:00 a.m. for Summit guests only. Please visit, get to know your business counterparts from around the world, and enjoy a relaxing beverage.

Terranea's renowned Chef Bernard Ibarra has created his own sustainable agriculture at the resort, from bee keeping to sea salt to fresh fruits and vegetables at their own local farm, Catalina View Gardens. Join us for a Sunday supper to experience Chef Ibarra's passion for "Farm to Table" dining and enjoy all that the local Palos Verdes Peninsula has to offer. The dress for this event is casual, and jeans are appropriate. 

The California Farm-to-Table BBQ Reception & Dinner will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6 from 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM at Terranea's Palos Verdes Terrace North, Level 4.

Optional, Complimentary Sunrise Hike 

Walk along the coastal bluffs as you enjoy sweeping views of the Pacific Coastline. This invigorating, morning hike stops at a variety of nature viewing points. A guide will take you along the coast and cue the whales for a morning that you won't soon forget! 

Activity Timing: Nov. 6 and 7, 6:15 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Price: Complimentary to all Summit attendees

Maximum Participants: 40 for each day

Activity Notes: We suggest wearing comfortable athletic clothing, closed-toe shoes, a hat and sunglasses. Bottled water and sunscreen provided. Meet your guide on the Palos Verdes Terrace. This is a moderate hike/ walk with mostly flat terrain and some hills. 


Port of Long Beach Tour



The Port of Long Beach is one of America’s premier seaports and a trailblazer in goods movement and environmental stewardship. Trade valued annually at more than $180 billion moves through Long Beach, making it the second-busiest seaport in the United States and a leading gateway for trade between the United States and Asia. You will tour the port by boat, and highlights include:

  • All six Port of Long Beach container terminals
  • On-dock rail
  • A ship at berth being loaded or unloaded
  • The largest gantry cranes in North America
  • THUMS Oil Islands
  • Several new harbor fireboats
  • The current Gerald Desmond Bridge and construction of the new bridge

This is the closest shopping center to the hotel. It has an open-air shopping center with covered walkways leading to all stores. Most stores are specialty retailers servicing medium- to higher-end clientele. There is no department store but they do have a nice ice skating rink, movie theater and restaurants. 

Shops include Abercrombie & Fitch, Banana Republic, Crabtree & Evelyn, Discovery World, Gap, J.Crew, Pottery Barn, Talbots, Williams-Sonoma, etc.

Transportation is available via taxi. Travel time from the hotel to the shopping center is approximately 10 minutes.
